About zanaida
I've been putting this bit off because I never know what to put about myself in these things... but my profile was looking to sad and empty looking so I'll give this a go.I'm mainly a happy person - I love the extremes in life. I have a passion to go swimming with great white sharks and other similar adventures. Like many people similar to me, with my incredible highs come some equally defining lows - but they are few and far between and only serve to make those ups seem even better!
I love fashion and style - can't get enough of shows like Project Runway. Cookery and eating out are also big interests of mine... there just isn't enough time in the day to experience everything!

Oromia - the unknown country
So I know 2threads is a style, fashion and shopping site with an emphasis on... well lets face it, events, clothes and socialising but I feel this is a topic I want to share with the world, so please bear with me! On my recent shopping trip to Melbourne (where I gained a gorgeous cream Thurley silk dress - stunning I tell you!) I hailed myself a taxi with the most interesting of stories! His name was Zed and he was from a country in AfricRead more...
Nicola - Great Melbourne Shop!
I came down to Melbourne this weekend to find myself a dress and discovered a great little gem of a shop called Nicola on Greville Street in Prahran. Apprently also located on High Street in Armadale, the store stocks a selection of Australian designers including One Teaspoon, Nicola Finetti, Alice McCall, Gorman and Kate Hurst. I was in Heaven! Decorated in dusty pink and playing great 80s love songs, the store was a pleasure to behold andRead more...
Plantronics Discovery 925
Check out the latest hot, sexy little gadget! Never did a headset look less geeky, less... wanky! These guys put a lot of work into making this bluetooth headset (to be used with your phone) as stylish as possible and I methinks it paid off! I got mine today in a sleek black but these come in a range of colours with a great littlRead more...
Keep A Child Alive!
Ordinarily I will only watch 60 Minutes at the end of a long weekend to assist in the mind-numbing that is required prior to a crazy week at work. Occasionally though I see stories that strike a chord and last night's episode with Alicia Keys was one of those. Not Alicia Keys herself per say but rather her involvement with the Keep a Child Alive charity. Five minutes later I was online signingRead more...
Free the Pineapple!!
All you need to know is my cause. I'm here to start a revolution, to free my brothers! For too long Pineapples have been needlessly slaughtered, mutilated, humilated and annihilated! No longer are our crowns to be plucked, our skin to be sliced off and our sweet, healthy flesh savoured. No more fruit salads, honey roasting, fritters or cheesecakes. If you are with me, join me, share me with your friends and jump aboard the cause!Read more...
Macbook Air - just another sexy little thing!
I can't help it... I'm in love! The funny thing is - while I started out on Macs, I've been on a PC FOREVER (I'm doing the sums and I'm thinking 13 years of PC devotion?). Problem is, my adorable HOT HP Pavillion Verve Edition while fabulous is so unbelievably painful what with Windows Vista (don't go there. ever.), its video card (Nvidia) and driveRead more...
Ray-ban Wayfarers
What can I say?! Audrey Hepburn wore them in Breakfast at Tiffanys, Tom Cruise in Risky Business, Daniel Johns (at the Arias?) - not to mention Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, Bob Dylan and J F Kennedy. Now they've made yet another comeback on the likes of Rachel Bilson, Chloe Sevigny and Mary-Kate Olsen. Iconic! I couldn't help myself, I bought a pair (tortoise shell of course) on Saturday. Sexy little things.Read more...
Project Runway Final
So last night was the final of the US Project Runway on Arena. I am an avid fan of the series and am excited we have an Australian version coming up, albeit a little concerned about the presenter and judges and Tim Gunn's replacement just not cutting it! My favourite personality throughout the competition had to be Chris - I loved his deep chuckle as it evolved into a booming laugh. His clothes were so outrageous and costumey butRead more...
Don't mess with THIS
So I've not seen it yet as it's not out until next week but I have to admit that the Hezbollah Hotline video had me laughing pretty hard. The storyline apparently goes like this: John Tuturro leads a gang of incompetent terrorists bent on world destruction. Only Zohan (Adam Sandler), the ex-Israeli spy turned hair dresser can save the day. http://www.heavy.com/video/50307&Read more...
Flex and the City
For Flex and the City, Heavy.com replaced Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis with body builders to reenact your favorite scenes from the HBO hit, Sex and the City. Sex and the City fans will recognize dialogue from Flex and the City because it is exactly the same. But if Sex and the City stars are O-L-D, old (c'mon it's true), Flex and the City stars are B-U-F-F buff. No soft lighting neRead more...
