here is some information on how you could get involved if you wanted to -

LMFF produces world-class professional runway shows and provides the forum for designers to promote their autumn/winter collections in an aspirational environment directly to astute fashion customers. The Festival tiers activities, enabling designers to select the most appropriate experience to generate interest in their collections.
Working collaboratively with designers to ensure that their creative vision is upheld, LMFF selects the most viable forum for a label to present its work.
The options include:
L’Oréal Paris Runway Shows
Fashion Collections presented by the City of Stonnington
Independent Runway presented by MINI
LMFF Designer Award
POP UP presented by the Herald Sun and City of Melbourne
All Designer contracts need to be finalised by November 9, 2007 for inclusion in the 2008 Festival program.

Designer Award

The Festival is a champion of emerging Australian design talent, and L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s esteemed annual Designer Award is testament to this. The Award encourages excellence within the Australian fashion industry, acknowledging designers in their first years of business who excel in creative design, fashion innovation, high quality manufacturing standards, unique style and the potential to contribute to the future growth of the Australian fashion industry.
We are currently inviting expressions of interest, entries close on November 30, 2007.

You would be able to get into the motorola fashion week thats held later this year
if you wanted to promote your collection

I work for would be right for the target market you lookin for.
