News: Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser: Sad Skin No More! by CallmeKBro

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser
By Sarah Jane

I wear a lot of makeup. It’s kind of my job, being a makeup artist and all!

So for me, I have always needed a cleanser that is able to wash away the day easily without being too harsh. My skin has always had a problem with sensitivity- I can’t use anything containing SLS’s because they give me terrible eczema, dry skin and sometimes even big ugly scabs. Obviously I do not want that on my face!

Over the years I have spent a hell of a lot of money on finding a product that is good enough to get rid of all the makeup I wear but that is gentle on my skin too. I have been using Neutrogena now and I am thrilled with the results- I can literally feel the makeup on my face dissolve and afterwards, my skin is soft and smooth, not dry and itchy and crying out for moisturizer like it normally does. It’s oil free and as it says on the bottle, penetrates deep into your pores to disso... Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser: Sad Skin No More! at 2threads

News: Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser - Review by gracieg

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser - Review
Review by 2threads Product Reviewer Amy

I am a religious cleanser. Whatever other ritual of my day I miss - breakfast, dinner, exercise, or coffee - i do not feel like i have even woken up in the morning unless i have cleansed my face.

So naturally i was overjoyed at the prospect of trying out this little beauty from Neutrogena.

It goes on differently to other cleansers i have used - it has a thick, creamy and smooth consistency that does not result in a foam or bubbling effect of any sort. It is not what i am used to, but i was pleasantly surprised by the cooling and tingling sensation that followed. My pores were notably smaller and my cheeks had a brightness to them that was not evident before!

In using this product for the last week or so, i have only seen increased benefits since first use. My t-zone in particular has become more balanced and far less oily.

There is something a little bit weird about using a product that doesn’t foam- so I went and did some research. Basically, when something is foaming on your face, it’s a fake chemical reaction to give you the illusion of it doing the job! Like super soapy shampoo and conditioners and body wash that turns you into a Snowman.

The fact that Neutrogena doesn’t pad out its products with harsh chemicals to trick you into thinking it works is incredible. And the company has been around since 1930, so that means that for 80 years people have been using this refreshing cleanser and for me, the honest nature of the product is what I love best.
It claims to improve your complexion and it does. It says that your skin will feel smo... Neutrogena: An Honest Deep Clean Cleanser at 2threads

I have found my essential beauty product of the Autumn season! Here it is:

It is an absolute steal, costing about $10.40 for the 200g tube, and i can't believe i have gone without it so long!

I avoid cleansers which are heavily fragranced, foaming affairs - i prefer a straight-up, no nonsense cleanser that will just do the job. The Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser does exactly this. It is non-foaming and has an immediately noticeable effect of completely clearing the skin of dead cells, bacteria, and make up and other general 'debris' of your complexion, which dulls your overall skintone. It cleans right down to the very depths of your pores without feeling harsh or drying at any time. I used it every morning for the l...

I had been hearing from my friends that the fastest way for me to clean up my oily skin was to throw away my cleanser and start all over again with Neutrogena. I guess there is a snobbery that comes with using a brand that is so readily available from the supermarket – but I am willing to admit that my first mistake was doubting this product.

An oily t-zone is a problem that plagues many girls and I have often struggled with pimples around my chin. Immediately after using the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser my skin felt tighter (but not dry) and it was as smooth as it would feel after using a heavy duty exfoliater. It wasn’t until the late afternoon that I started to feel the oil-build up on my face, so with a secondary wash before bedtime, I woke up with zero new pimples on my face!

Neutrogena is definitely what you would classify as a 'cult' skincare brand for their loyalist following of die-hard users.

This product does not disappoint and offers up a high quality treatment for the usual affordable Neutrogena Price-Tag.

Immediately after using, skin feels tight, fresh and clean to the deepest depths of your pores. Although it doesn't foam up, the overall effect is a noticeable deep clean which has a brightening result, particularly in conjunction with a basic moisturiser (I recommend Neutrogena for this also).
News: Ballerina Tutus at Talbot Runhof Collection, Paris Fashion Week by cocochanelle

This season at Talbot Runhof is all about manipulating the silhouette. Designers Johnny Talbot and Adrien Runhof utilised plastic to exaggerate the figure, inserting cone-shaped knee pads underneath red leggings, and even visible plastic wrist and shin guards. Nearly every dress featured a plastic exo-skeleton shaping the shoulders – a re-interpretation of the shoulder pad.

Skirts were short and loud with an abundance of girly tulle tutus, a look that is sure to resonate with buyers. Despite the ballerina tutus, the highlight of the collection was no doubt the buckled red heels that should be on every girl's lust list.

Dutch designer Wolfgang Joop is one of the exceptional designers who can find the rare equilibrium between quirky and commercial. His six-year-old label Wunderkind is kooky done right, and even his menswear with floral trousers and fluffy pink blazers somehow works. This season takes inspiration from the Wild West of North America, with plenty of fringing, animal print and cowboy references.

The collection mixes patterns like a well-stirred cocktail: the flavours bring the best out of each other. Similarly, the tribal printed skirt and fur boots wouldn’t seem nearly so appealing if they weren’t so brilliantly paired together. The cinched waist belts keep the billowy silhouettes in check, and the mensw... Wunderkind Tribal Inspired Fall 2010 collection at Paris Fashion Week at 2threads

Although the styling of the range can be intimidating, the Demeulemeester woman is likely to select individual key pieces and incorporate them into her wardrobe rather than wear an entire catwalk look.

L’Oreal Melbourne fashion festival kicked off this week, with organisers bringing to the public a week of shows and events that showcase the best of Australian fashion to the masses.
News: Chanel Paris Fashion Week collection features Fur Lined Coats and Boots by nicoledora

Chanel’s shows are always spectacle’s - one show goer noted that it would be pretty hard to top Chanel’s last show, but it seems Karl Lagerfeld has managed to do that, shipping in an iceberg from Scandinavia to present his arctic dream.

Chanel’s trademark tweed was made over with browns and had fur woven into the fabric, and it seemed that fur was the main feature of the show – fur trimmed coats were paired with fur pants and models walked around the melting icebergs in fur boots while the menswear featured heavy layering and the floor length coat. Fur seems pretty standard for a collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld, but this time around all the fur was fake – pleasantly surp...
