So, if you love your dog as much as I love Minnie then you will love this. To me there is nothing better then splurging on your best friend, however, I do find it surprising that I love it as much as I do.

The "Pre-Minnie" me used to spend $300 or more a week on clothes just for myself so to cut buck, a lot, and devote all of my time and money to her is something that still makes me think "Wow!" I never thought I could love someone so much that my clothing needs...scratch that, clothing wants, paled in comparison.

The one thing I have noticed that it is very hard to find good quality doggie fashion items. When you think about it there are a lot of things a dog would need (collar, bling, tags, t-shirts, santa outfits, easter outfits, sweaters for winter, rain coats for when it is raining, leashes and so much more). Everyone says that Minnie is spoilt and, yes I admit it, she is. But I think that any animal deserves as much love and attention that you would give to yourself. Minnie is my daughter and, so, I treat her like one which means she gets a lot of presents. So here are mine, and Minnie's, favourites of doggie fashion:

Driza-Bone Coats:

These coats will protect your dog in the rain. It will keep them shielded from the water as well as keep them warm. Sizes range from: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.

Winter Coats:

This baby pink winter coat with pink fur is a must have for Minnie and should be for your dog too. The fabric is great for winter especially when Minnie has to go to the park early in the morning. It stops those pesky shivers and will make your dog the most fashionable in the playground.

Polo Neck Jumpers:

These cable knit jumpers come in a wide variety of colours and are made from supreme quality wool. They are perfect or any occassion and will also keep your gorgeous friend wonderfully warm.

Accessories:

As we all know, one can never have enough accessories and the same goes for dogs. Douge has a fabulous range of accessories including this cute butterfly charm (also known as bling):

Priceline also has a cute rang of dog bling. While the website does not show the selection you can check it out below to find your nearest store:

www.priceline.com.au/

Leashes:

Your dog has to get around somehow and a leash is a great way. The best leash is one with a bit of length so your pooch can have some roaming space and of course, for Minnie, pink is the way to go. Here is her favourite:

Harnesses:

You wear a seatbelt and so should your dog. From Douge: www.dogue.com.au

Collars:

Minnie has eleven collars and counting. Here are her fav's:

This collar is great because it's cute (and pink) and has an easy clip.

Minnie loves leather collars for important nights out when she wants to look sophisticated. While none of these are in pink she still loves her leather collars equally.

These cute dog bone collars are great for a casual day lounging around the house. Minnie loves the extra bling and your dog will too.

Diamonds were Marilyn Monroe's best friend and they are Minnie's too. She loves these collars in all colours. These dazzling Swarovsky Crystal diamontes set Minnie apart from the rest.

*All collars, leads and harnesses are from Dogue: www.dogue.com.au

Bowls:

Minnie is extremley fussy when it comes to bowls. She has three in pink, one in blue and one in brown. When it comes to eating and/or drinking she will only do so if you place the bowl in front of her (a princess she certainly is) but if the food or water isn't in one of these she wont touch it.

Beds:

These beds are great, so plush and comfy. I will always recommend the larger bed no matter how small your dog is because stretching out is the best.

This bed or beanbag is great for the lounge room in your house so your dog has somewhere to sit that is his/her own.

Both from Dogue: www.dogue.com.au

Blanket:

A great warm, furry blanket to keep your dog warm in the winter.

Also from Dogue: www.dogue.com.au

Bags:

I don't agree with putting a dog in a bag and carrying it around like some possession. A dog is a living creature but if you disagree with me Dogue also has a range of dog bags.

Other Stores:

Other great pet stores include:

-Paws a While which is located in the Queen Victoria Building. The website is: www.pawsawhile.com.au/

-Pet Stores such as: Pets Paradise and Pets World have a great selection of dog clothes and accessories as well as health care any pooch needs. Minnie recently purchased a pair of pyjamas from Pets Paradise in Parramatta Westfield.

The Pets Paradise Website is here: www.petsparadise.com.au/

The Pets World Website is here: www.petsworld.com.au/

The RSPCA Shelter in Yagoona NSW also has a great range of dog accessories and the good news is money from the sales goes directly to the RSPCA. So by purchasing some products from them you are not only helping your dog but helping other animals too.

There Website is here: www.rspcansw.org.au/

-And last but not least Minnie has been known to buy products from: Kmart, Big W and Target, on occassion. They have a select range of dog products including: bathrobes and toys.

www.target.com.au

www.bigw.com.au/

These stores are great if you are on a budget and you don't want to skimp on quality but if some of the things are still too expensive for you, you may want to try: Hot Dollar www.hotdollar.com.au/ or The Reject Shop www.rejectshop.com.au/.

Another tip: online stores such as www.dealsdirect.com.au/ and www.oo.com.au/ have a small range of dog accessories. Surfing the web is also a great way to find that one of a kind item your dog needs. We love: www.glamourdog.com

Minnie and I recommend all of these products and stores to you :) And let's face it Minnie certainly has taste!
