Brad forth â€" Born and Bred in the South, Brad’s passion for photography grew studying with Blake Praytor while attaining a Bachelor of Arts in photography and graphic design from the University of South Carolina. Blake, known for his commercial advertising and his images of The Who, has worked with such greats as Imagin Cunningham and Ralph Gibson and has passed many lessons on to Brad. With his passion for people and events Brad decided to step into arts and events and went to work with the Metrobeat, an Upstate South Carolina culture and arts publication and the Spartanburg Herald Journal.
Not feeling as satisfied and desiring greater challenges and additional skills, he traveled to New York to work with Fairchild Publications, a subsidiary of Conde Nast and producer of Women's Wear Daily, W and Details magazine. Here he got the opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the top fashion photographers and models in the industry enhancing his skills as a fashion photographer. One of these photographers / mentors was David Turner, www.davidturnerphotography.com . After spending some time in Europe, he decided to team up with Carlton Talley at TalleyFoto Studio, talleyfotostudio.com/ , focusing on commercial advertising for international clientele.
Brad is known for his passion and expertise in detailed lighting as well as his ability to work with people, making them feel at ease, bringing out the best image possible. Always well dressed, he is a joy to work with on any project. In addition, Brad loves fine wine and coffee; so, feel free to bring some to any photo shoot.
