Vodafone - think mobiles, fast cars and soccer teams. Now Vodafone have
translated their work ethic into a revolutionary workplace.
PMDL's fit-out forVodafone epitomizes the company’s motto of "People, Passion and Environment".
Futuristic staff kitchens (Hubs), funky meeting rooms, Yoga classes and video games give workers a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Work definitely looks a lot more fun these days.
Designer, Simon Fallon:
“New work cultures and technology have revolutionised the workplace. Organisations grow + change at increasing rates. Good work environments must adapt quickly + simply whilst maintaining a sense of identity and personality.
Vodafone is a values-based organisation. Passion. People. Environment. The design gives body to these values. Mobility. Teamwork. Transparency. Vodafone offers its customers freedom and mobility. The fit out lets employees walk the talk. Open work areas radiate from communal space. Personal space becomes team space. Forms are dynamic and flowing, giving a sense of movement and action. There is space to work, to walk, to meet, to crash, to recharge.
Brand identity is strongly reinforced. The design palette is strong and stimulating. Opportunities for casual, informal, arranged or accidental interaction are loosely scattered throughout the floors. Different work styles are acknowledged"
