Nadia Plesner, an artist who recently produced a range of t-shirts featuring designs promoting 'simple living' is being sued by Louis Vuitton for using an image likened to their famous Speedy Murakami handbag. (See image below).

Ok. So perhaps Plesner has used an image that 'looks' like a Murakami bag, however she isn't profiting from this, unlike the thousands of counterfeit bag makers throughout Asia who use LV's design to turn a dollar. Plesner is simply raising awareness of the genocide occuring in Darfur, Sudan as we speak.
