Afterglows 2009/10 collection “Born to Fly’ is a clean mix of silver, buffalo horn & pearl shell delicately hand carved into delicious creatures of flight such as eagles, hummingbirds and butterflies. Some suspended on chain in mid journey, others dripping with fine silver and black chain, charms and pearls.
The collection was inspired by long road trips along the Coast of Australia, bright blue skies and dark, dreamy silhouettes of birds soaring above. Fantasies of the freedom of feathers and flight have been represented by flying horses, sparkling zirconias and plenty of luscious winged creatures.
