Zac Posen to launch a Lower Priced Line with a focus on Basic T-shirts

US designer Zac Posen is set to release a low-priced diffusion line exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue this March. With prices ranging from $78 for a basic t-shirt to a $675 knit dress, the ‘Z Spoke’ range is an effort to reach a younger and worldlier market than his eponymous brand, which costs up to $20,000 for a custom-made dress. Although Posen is known for vivid gowns suited to the red carpet, his tailored, ladylike aesthetic is clear in the sportswear-inspired line. 

In Australia, Posen is better known for his collaboration with Target in 2008, which lacked the success of its predecessor Stella McCartney for Target. Z Spoke will be available to Australian recessionistas online at saks.com following their release.
