Welcome to Sin City, Las Vegas where everything and anything goes. And the best thing yet is that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
The famous Strip of Las Vegas has some the world’s famous cities like New York and Paris shrunken down for you all in the one place. The sandstone walls and the tall Parthenon like columns of Caesar’s Palace replicates the luxury in which King Caesar himself indulged back in the day. While down the road, much like the famous St Mark’s Square in Venice (minus the million pigeons), The Venetian’s forum is constantly buzzing with performers dressed in traditional Venetian clown costumes playing the violin while merrily dancing to a tune.
As you make your way in between casinos, you’ll find this in no other place other than along The Strip, Mexican men and women lined up on the footpath making a flicking sound with cards promoting female escorts. It may sound strange, but it’s just second nature to Sin City.
Though you may be no Hollywood star who can afford to place bets using the Benjamins, it’d be a shame to leave Vegas without gambling. There are a million of five cent slot machines littered around every casino but for a memorable experience try your beginner’s luck at the exclusive Bellagio, famous for its spectacular water fountain display which move in motion to the theatrical music.
While you’re here, you’ll also discover starving is impossible. Every casino has its own extensive and sumptuous buffets offering food from around the world. Warning: Weight gain is highly probable!
Next to Broadway, Las Vegas is known for its shows. Some of the classics include Celine Dion’s live concert (though that just recently finished up), the Phantom of the Opera and David Copperfield’s magic shows. You can grab half price tickets to these, just ask the people in the lobby of your hotel.
Located just outside from The Strip, is the Las Vegas Premium Brand Outlet where your bank balance is sure to get another hit. With brands like Armarni Exchange, Calvin Klein and French Connection being sold at ridiculous prices, it’s a promise you won’t walk out empty handed.
If you really want to submerse yourself in the American culture or you just have a lot of steam to vent, take the opportunity to visit The Gun Store, a shooting range just off from The Strip. Here you’ll get to play with the real stuff; M-16s, Uzis, but of course all under strict surveillance by trained people. It can be daunting when you step into the place but loads of fun (excuse the pun!).
