Following a delightful dining experience at Zachary’s in the Cross, I ventured out for this week’s filling of the fashion world’s frivolity and a glass of bubbly. On Friday PM, Favela played host to Vanguard’s fashion show, and the 2threads party crew.

At around 10:30pm the lights diffused, and the electro funk pumped through the speakers as the label showcased its wears in the company of a wholesome city crowd. Models danced down the catwalk, decked in skirts, shorts and tees in geometric prints and neon shades that could have rivaled the suns rays. In addition, synchronized street-wear tradition called upon the ever-popular converse sneaker that featured in an array of colours and patterns.

Overall, the night channeled a vivacious groove; Sydney’s socials blended amidst a great music mix, and complimentary bottles of ‘new age cider’. What’s not to love about that?
