Anyone with a love for fashion and street style will know that on the world wide web there is a one-stop shop for inspiration. Scott Schuman is “The Sartorialist”, a man armed with a camera, a sharp eye and what seems to be an endless number of frequent flyer points.

He whisks his way through some of the world’s most stylish capturing shots of some of the most elegantly, well-put together style mavens around and uploads them onto his blog for hopeless fashion tragics and voyeurs to swoon over. While many of his posts come from his milling around fashion weeks and the fashion circuit, any chance he does get to just snap mere mortals he takes. It’s not always just the young and the beautiful but sometimes a mix of old and young, the obviously well off and the obviously less so. He doesn’t stick to just one style, but photographs a plethora of different looks and styles and often the moment the picture is captured in is just important as the wears being documented.

His work has gained him great notoriety both on and offline. He is a pacemaker in the street style photography game and afforded just a few minutes to peruse his blog it is not hard to see why. It’s also way too easy to conjure up ideas of throwing in the towel wherever you are and getting a camera and hitting the street. Truth be told, there are many street style photographers out there doing what The Sart does, but none do it quite like he.
