What do you get when the kids at Absolut team up one of the worlds most popular distilled beverages with pears? You get Absolut Pears Vodka, the newest addition to the Absolut family. And what better way to introduce ones new creation to the world than with a lavish launch!

Sydneys stylish social birds flocked to a green neon lit warehouse style space in Walsh Bay on Thursday 1st November. To begin the evening guests enjoyed four different cocktails; all comprising of pear vodka of course and a charming array of delicate canapes. Familiar faces mingled, the DJ spun the records, and the barmen pumped out as many pear potions as possible throughout the night.

A fun photo booth was placed in a secluded corner of the room where guests were encouraged to get snapped. Invitees wrote their names and numbers on the reverse of their photos and then these were attached to an art-work in the making [literally] for a chance to win a years supply of Vodka.

Once the night was in full swing, a section of the warehouse opened to reveal a disco inspired space and silver clad disco-divas entered to provide guests with silver "Absolut disco" jackets and silver tinsel wigs. With little persuasion the crowd embellished themselves in their new threads and hit up the dance-floor to disco tunes.

After much dancing, and too much vodka [some may even conclude not enough] the night came to a close and upon departure guests were treated to goodie bags as a compliment to an ABSOLUT-ely amazing evening.
