The Cassette Society Collaborate with Sportsgirl for February/March 2010 Collection

Australian high street chain Sportsgirl, which has made a trademark of its regular collaborations with local designers, has leaked images of their upcoming line ‘Halcyon Days’ with The Cassette Society. Designers Katie Boyd and Tania Rickards have complemented their customary 1980’s references with glam rock prints in a line that is sure to be popular with festival-goers around the country.

Launching in February, the line is far from ground-breaking, but instead plays it safe with current trends including leopard print, florals, sequins and acid wash denim, accented with exposed zips and frills. Fans of the range can look forward to the upcoming Alpha 60 and Kym Ellery collaborations later in the year.
