Any event is sure to be a winner at Cargo Bar, and Sundown was definitely one of them; nothing short of spectacular put on by organisers ‘Dirty Funken Beats’.
The party started at 2pm, at the peak of Sydney’s sunshine and carried out through to midnight. The atmosphere was hypnotic in a sea coloured spectrum of people dressed to impress baring more skin than fabric, less is more right? Fashion of the night saw the likes of girls sporting the summer’s short shorts, the bohemian look of headbands, bikini tops, short dresses, short skirts, tank tops, big sunnies, and did I mention lots of legs? Guys were wearing low V-necks revealing a bit of chest, lots of bright colours and singlet tops (with muscles like that, I wouldn’t want to cover them either).
The DJ’s worked up a storm to keep the atmosphere fun and alive, playing smooth house and funky dance beats to celebrate the beginning of summer. Everyone was taking advantage of the bar, happy to be celebrating a taste of summer on the harbour, though drinks were expensive (but that’s to be expected) the view and sunset made up for it.
Cargo bar on cockle bay with its recent renovation of gorgeous lighting and spacious decking has done it again with yet another successful party mix of fashion and music!
