Whether you want to be a Queen B or dress like one these tips on how to dress like Blair Waldorf are for you. For those of you who have no idea, Blair Waldorf is the Queen of the Upper East Side, in love with Chuck Bass, a schemer, an Audrey fan and constantly featured on Gossip Girl's blog. In the real world she is a character on The CW'S hit show Gossip Girl and she is played by the gorgeous Leighton Meester. No matter how bitchy she is Blair is totally loveable (my personal fav) and she dresses amazingly.

First of all, you need to have money or at least have the common sense to buy cheap-ish pieces that are well tailored and look expensive but if you don't or can't, well, that's what I'm here for.

Blair's a brunette and you need to be one too. If not, dressing like her will look totally off-centre and non-Blair Waldorf-ish. If you want to stay or be blonde maybe you should think along the lines of dressing like SVDW or Little J.

Blair is very classic and posh. She would not be caught in boho or distressed-anything. She's not the kind of girl to step out looking unwashed- she's too classic for that. When I see Blair I think of a young Charlotte York (after all Charlotte grew up in Conneticut and just by looking at her you can tell her family was well off). Blair screams "I live on the Upper East Side and Live In A Penthouse and Summer in France", her fashion, her hair, her style, everything.

I love Blair but she always strikes me as mannaquein-ish. She just seems too perfect, too polished, so if you want to be like her be prepared to hide emotion and always look happy.

Blair is always in dresses or skirts I can not remember a time I have seen her in pants or jeans. She wears tights in winter with her outfits and without in summer. You need to look for structured pieces in high-class and high-quality materials.
