Last week saw the fashionistas out in force with the coveted Rosemount Australian Fashion Week being held in Sydney. Swarms of editors, buyers, media, designers and models headed down to Circular Quay each day to catch all the latest runway parades from Australia's best designers. Both national and international celebrities were present throughout the week: The Sartorialist was there to capture all the street fashion, whilst vital buyers from the US, maintained an air of criticism over nervous designers.

The 2threads team were at RAFW to catch all the news and snaps of what is coming into season, and who the next big labels will be. We were busy bees throughout the week, eager to get the best shots and the best view of the latest threads, so that we can keep you all updated! Runway shows included the Australian greats like Lisa Ho, Jayson Brundson and Nicola Finetti, whilst emerging student designs from the TAFE show represented a new air in fashion.

The trends to watch out for? For women, there was an abundance of softer hues, pale pinks and sheer whites. This was mixed with bright rainbows and futuristic panelled garments. For the men, watch out for a return to gentlemanly style- bow ties, double breasted shirts and blazers, and a strong military feel.
