Jayson Brunsdon’s early morning collection pleased everyone even before they’d seen the clothes. The show was held at the exclusive Rosemount Wine Bar instead of the usual parade rooms. Smoked salmon bagels and coffee was served to the hordes of fashionistas who’d skipped brekkie to primp and preen in time for the show.
A delicate shade of off white featured throughout the fresh collection which screamed Brunsdon. Structured, 50’s-inspired block colour pieces were offset by a delicate, Japanese-dragon-like, brush stroke featuring on some silk/Saturn items.
A gorgeous, see through cream coat with cascading frills falling from the neckline would be a piece to sum up the collection, which also featured cowl necks, off the shoulder designs and gems highlighting burnt caramel insertions around waists.
Other hits included the gems stuck on the models wrists and backs, and patent accessories.
