A quick question that I pose to you all out there:
Was Mischa Barton ever really a fashion icon?
Let me think about this carefully:
1. "Fashion icon" gets thrown around far too quickly lately so how can one ever really know who a true fashion icon is.
2. At the time of said person being labelled as above she was only 18/19... Far too young in my books to be labelled as such.
3. As a known client of Rachel Zoe, she never really dressed herself.

True: the girl loves her Chanel but who doesn't? It's not as though she 'made' the brand or anything. In fact, it was doing quite well on it's own. I do love a quilted Chanel but she wears them a lot which screams to me that she's playing things just a bit too safe.

Same dress, different colour. I love the fact that she wears sandles and made flats look cool so she gets claps for this but...the hat! Take it off, please.

Kind of mermaid wannabe, kind of cute. In her "OC" days she really did look stylish and nicely pulled together even when she dated the greasy boy below:

But in her post-"OC" days she started to resemble said greasy boy:

And finally I would like to applaud her for looking like a normal person, cellulite and all, in a bathing suit:

But the constant denials that these images were altered peeves me quite a bit.
All in all, nothing really screams "fashion icon" or even "style icon" (same thing to me, really) about this girl.
