My Dirty Secret: Pigeon Coffee

I will let you all in on a dirty little secret which I hold dear to my heart. Well actually it's not a secret and not really dirty either but it just sounds juicier if I was to open the blog like so. I am a lowly, common place coffee addict.

I love the taste, I love the smell and I love all the symbolic meaning attached to having a coffee. Catching up with beloved friends, lazy sunday brunch at the local cafe, meeting someone new over coffee...I love it all.

I love coffee so much so that I am quite the snob when it comes to the cafes in which I get my coffee hit from. I MAKE my team get my coffee at the one cafe near our office. Pigeon Coffee off Bourke St, Surry Hills. Anywhere else, forget it.

I also tip my hat to the Grind on Oxford St (due to clear nepotism), Single Origin (Surry Hills), Citrus and Vargarbar Espresso (Newtown) and Mecca & Chrysler (City).

Funnily I can order a Soy Latte in several different languages but I guess no surprises there. Plus I need to go have my teeth Hollywood whiten.

Coff-wa anyone?

dear abbey.. campos is over-rated.

yes bean is good there but they are sooo slow.

it taints the experience when you ahve to wait 20mins for a coffee.

loads of other places uses their grind such as pigeon coffee and you can have your hit in 2mins flat!
