In 2004 a dear friend of mine went on a European trip and came back with every colour headscarf you could think of! There were so many beautiful colours and patterns! I was amazed to see how many ways you can wear them and what they can do to uplift any outfit.
I don’t know how many times I needed a new outfit but simply could not afford the price tag attached. Having a fashion background I put my thinking cap on and started making my own. I loved them and my family and friends loved them too! That was the beginning of Miss Miranda.
For all that know me, one of my biggest passions in life was to run my own business, something fun, creative and something that gives you a quality of life (don’t worry I still have those 16 hour days). And finally my passion is a reality!
Melbourne has some great Twilight markets and Music Festivals over the summer time, the vibe and the people are just amazing so I started selling my range and the response was incredible! The twilight markets and music festivals have been so good to me I still love doing them! (I’ll probably be doing it till I’m old and grey!)
As much as I love that lifestyle I wanted other people to enjoy my scarfs and headwear just as much as I do so now we have come alive online!
