Store Review: Minty Meets Munt

Walking down Crown Street, you may just step into this store because of the unusual name. When inside you will realise that, yes, it is unusual but in that good "wow these clothes are fantastic, you will never find them anywhere, I want to buy the whole shop" way, and that's certainly what I wanted to do.

I have a couple of facts for you:

FACT 1: Appealing to funky 19 year olds and sophisticated twenty and thirty somethings, Minty Meets Munt is one of Sydney's finest cheap-chic stores with clothing, accessories, and lots and lots of shoes.

FACT 2: Minty Meets Munt is not just a clothing store, it also is it's own label.

FACT 3: The lady who works here (damn it I forgot her name, I am clumsy, ditzy and silly, ignore me) is super super nice and has great taste!

FACT 4: This shop is accessible and affordable (which for me to say is saying a lot, after all I am poor and cheap).

The lady who walked and talked me through the shop showed me everything really. She was really proud of the Minty Meets Munt label and she has every right to be. The shoes! The bags! The jeans! Did I mention the shoes, bags and jeans???

Seriously, the jeans! They are great and come in high waisted and others and they look great. Did I mention that these jeans are: $59. Fifty-nine dollars! I have one thing to say, only one: go down to Minty Meets Munt and buy these jeans. They come in different colours, get all of them.

As if by fate when I was taking notes a shopper exclaimed: "I LOVE THIS STORE!" What better endorsement is there?

The shoes are just swoon worthy. I had my eye on a pair of black heels with studs in them and I don't even wear heels. The heels range from: $79.95-$89.95. The festival booties are only $49 and made of a suede material. They have a similar pair for guys which are just adorable (I also have my eyes on these).

They have: hats, jewellery, dresses, tops...everything!

Minty Meets Munt also stocks other brands like: Living Doll, Rubies, Wish, Bardot and Ladakh (if I've spelt any wrong I apologise).

I am seriously in love with this store. I will even go further to say that this little girl visited with her dad, I guess her mum works there, and I was not dismayed. Me! Not wanting to kill (I would never) a child. I think this store brings out the best in me.

Did I mention bags range from: $29-$39? I could have a heart attack or an asthma attack in one! Oh my goodness! This rant could go on forever.

Minty Meets Munt is open 7 days a week, the times vary.

They also have a website: www.mintymeetsmunt.com/

So, check out the site and then check out the store.

You will never want to leave.
