On Thursday I got to see Joolz on the main catwalk at the Hilton's Grand Ballroom for MBFF - Tia Carrigan had borrowed all the Murinid necklaces and Hunter Gatherer bracelets and draped them all over her models as they strutted down the catwalk showing off her divine designs. I felt very priveleged to have Joolz included alongside such a talented young Australian designer's work! Her dresses had lots of wonderful detailing in the necklines and straps, and there were a couple of gorgeous maxidresses too.

Friday saw the Joolz soiree to celebrate the end of MBFF and showed off the very newest Joolz designs - a preview of my upcoming "Black and White" collection. Held at a private home in the innercity suburb of Red Hill, with a gorgeous big deck overlooking rainforest and the city skyline, the models and photographers had a really beautiful backdrop against which to work their magic, showing off the latest Joolz! Those of you who now know me will agree that a Joolz event is never without free-flowing champagne and lots of lovely people around. I got to meet some absolutely divine new people who populate the fashion scene up in Brisbane. Special thanks to the super-fabulous Dan and Jacquie, Frankie (MUA), the models, and Holly & Melissa the photographers.

Now back in Melbourne and gearing up for the next event where Joolz will be on the catwalk. As part of Melbourne's Spring Fashion Week, High Fashion High Tea is being held on Sat 6 Sept.
