Forget the red and white jolly man as this Christmas he’s coming in all shapes and sizes of different forms. This Christmas all I want is the new Levis skinnys in my stocking!

To celebrate what has been a year of celebrated fashion achievements and up coming designers, the year is ending in style as the ‘Levity and Levis’ Christmas party shakes things up (and I don’t mean just the martinis) with a few of their very own up and coming indie bands playing through out the night. Though the initial opening band of ‘Cut off your hands’ was disappointedly cancelled, their replacement alternative bands ‘The Scare’ and ‘Mercy Arms’ did a fantastic job to pump up the crowd and did not disappoint us.

The Christmas party was in fully hype as the crowd was sipping on their drinks and mingling with some similar faces as the team of Channel V was there to celebrate the festive season. Not to mention Channel V’s host Yumi and Australian Idol’s host Andrew G were also present. And I must say Andrew G in person is a dream, and he was lovely to talk to (ok, so maybe now I have a little celebrity crush, harmless right?) as he tells me that he’s hosting New Year Eve for channel 10 .

The styling of the night saw some creative use of scarves and accessories. As the females wore short dresses and this season’s popular shirt dress, while the males dish out on their favourite skinnys and leather footwear. Levis presented two models which had clothes body painted on to them, at first glance you’ll probably thinking they’re wear really tight fitted clothes, but when looked at closely it’s a work of art.

As Christmas is about giving and receiving, I shall demonstrate this concept. Giving - I gave my home made dress another worn, having altering this dress myself with other fabrics it deserves to be shown off even though it might not be approved by others, but it’s your personality through your style that counts. Receiving - Fantastic head banging rock bands and house music from the DJ, in the company of friendly acquaintances, no complaints there.
