Submerged in a sea of skinny legs, and this seasons plague of �"plaid”, there is only one place I could have been… KSUBI- Sign of the Times. On Saturday night, 11th August 2007, amidst the softly lit surroundings of Sun Studios in Sydney, Ksubi launched its Peaced Off exhibition.

The acquiescent fashion crowd indulged in a many complimentary ‘glass-of-something’, and mingled, while momentously stationed in the center of the vast space stood the eight-foot-high sculpture. A peace sign formed by a human hand with finger-tips slashed and fluid representing blood literally spouting from the cuts. In two further rooms’ projections depicting a series of images of the Peaced Off journey played for eager artisans.

Accompanying the exhibition is a 120-page book that documents the journey of the Ksubi crew and sculpture to the Burning Man festival in Nevada and then onwards across the United States coasts.

Now, after all that anyone for a political statement on the present day position of world peace?
