Crazy busy at this time of year, I'm finalising my next collection and shooting it over the next couple of days.

But the GREAT news at the moment is that I made it into the finals of 2threads Australian Fashion Awards!

I had been nominated a while back, but had no idea that you had to get heaps of nominations to make it as a finalist. I found out on Wed - when nominations closed! So I madly called and emailed all my friends and the Joolz fanbase and I guess enough of them must have nominated me to get me across the line.

I'm also really excited that a couple of my friends in the industry are also up there. I did a fashion show with Cyan Reign last month up in Brisbane, and if anyone deserves to win Best Womenswear, its her! She is truly incredibly amazingly talented. (But don't take my word for it, Vogue thinks so too - current issue has Emma Booth wearing one of Cyan's corsets). And I loaned some Joolz to the lovely Bethany Joy for a photoshoot of her most recent collection, Wasn't that a Dainty Dish? She's a finalist for Best Up and Coming! How cool is that! I guess I will get to see them both at the big finalists party next month at Bungalow8, whether we win or not, it is still great to be nominated up there amongst the best in Australia :)

Well I better sign off and shut down. I have a photoshoot to get to!
