One of the latest trends to be spotted on the runway is African Tribal Chic - and celebrities have been picking up on the trend and taking it to the red carpet and the streets. Spotted recently were Heidi Klum and Lindsay Lohan wearing the African tribal fashion trend.

Lindsay uses fringing and beading to incorporate the trend, whilst Heidi seems to have taken her look straight from the Luis Vuitton SS09 catwalk - even wearing identical accessories!

But who can blame her for stealing the look? It works well as it incorporates the trend subtly. Look to Heidi for inspiration and wear a pair of African inspired shoes - as seen on the models at Christian Dior and Luis Vuitton - to update a classic outfit - jeans for a casual look, or a LBD for a more glam look.

Bringing the trend from runway to the street is American Apparel with their funky zebra print and tribal print leggings. Teem them with a simple dress and flat boots for an individual take on the trend.

If the leggings are too much for your everyday wardrobe work the trend into your look with interesting accessories (again, see Louis Vuitton for inspiration) or try a snakeskin clutch bag.
