There is nothing fake about the Australian quartet, Faker. Fresh from touring the country with the Big Day Out and landing the plum position of number five in Triple J’s annual crème de la crème, The Hottest 100, it’s nothing but bonafide for these boys.
 
‘This Heart Attack’ is the accolade-winning tune, off the album ‘Be The Twilight’, which delves into the human psyche and the darker aspects of our lives. The 12 tracks are an eclectic mix of catchy tunes and fun melodies, drawing on 80s sounds.
 
Singer, songwriter and founding member of the band, Nathan Hudson, offers some insight into the motivations and foundations of the album, “Essentially this record is about change and making it happen”. Living by this mantra, the boys are certainly making things happen with this impressive second full-length album and all the attention it is getting them.
