Feeling like a 10 year-old kid again is liberating and where better to go than to Walt Disney’s Disneyland.
Unleash your inner child while you’re there and go on every ride. The-must-dos include the famous Splash Mountain where you’ll need to be prepared to get a little wet and Big Thunder Mountain, a small but very rough rollercoaster. You’ll also get a thrill out of the Indiana Jones Adventure ride; just make sure you watch out for the giant boulder! And don’t let the childish looking rides fool you either. On the Mad Tea Party you’ll get the chance to spin yourself silly in giant tea cups.
It’d also be a shame to leave Disneyland without dropping by to say hi to the mouse himself, Mickey Mouse. And if you’re lucky you’ll also bump into other familiar faces like Minnie Mouse and Goofy.
A great way to end the visit is with the famous fireworks that are on show every night at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. It’d just be like a fairytale ending.
Just one tip, if you have plenty of days to spare, buy a Park Hopper ticket which will let you run between Disneyland Park and its neighbouring theme park, Disney’s California Adventure (with more rides for the big kids!)
