When I first read "Coco" as a title of an album, I was curious to know what kind of music it  offers, and who is the artist behind the title. This 'funny' album title was written on an article I read at a magazine on my way to Singapore last December.

"Coco" happened to be the title of a 12-song album written and performed by a new artist named Colbie Caillat. The 22-year-old Californian girl grew up in a musical household, and was hired to perform with artists who are far older than her since she was 15.

The album's hit single "Bubbly", "Oxygen", and "Magic" have been played in radios around the world, and even as soundtacks in hit TV series such as Gossip Girl. The sunny, upbeat, semi-r&b-folk songs with thoughtful lyrics have brought a fresh air to the pop music industry. Grab a record, and I'm sure you'll love it!
