With a collection comprised completely of silvers and pastels, this marks a first for Chanel with Lagerfeld stating “It’s the first time in my whole career I’ve done a collection without black or navy. There is not one gold button”. Sparkly stockings and metallic heeled boots were heavily featured, while the traditional Chanel tweed suit was looking lovely in every colour in the pastel rainbow and crystal embellishments.

But all of this isn’t the best part of the collection. All you have to look at is the hair and it is enough to drag someone down into fits of uncontrollable glee. The love heart shaped hair highlighted with fairy floss goodness and finished off with a beautiful silk bow. Finish off with Abbey Lee closing the show as the Chanel bride and we are now officially in a dream land where the Care Bears exist and all of your wildest dreams come true. I have always admired Chanel for producing timeless and elegant pieces but never before has one of their collections made me so HAPPY!
