Celebrity Trend: Vintage Tees
Celebrity Trend: Vintage Tees
I remember the first vintage tee I got. It is a black-nearly gray Black Sabbath tee from their 1980 Heaven and Hell tour. Like I said, it was already faded and now, about six years later it's close to see through and I still love wearing it. Lately, I've been seeing celebrities rockin' the vintage tees and looking too cool while doing it.

Sometimes I hate Lindsay Lohan and sometimes I don't, this is one of those times I don't. Rockin' an Iron Maiden vintage tee pretty much makes her a badass. I don't know if she's even a fan but hell, she's still throwing the idea of them out there is pretty awesome.
Megan Fox is also sporting a pretty rebelious vintage tee: Mega Death. I'm not really into her velour pants or Uggs, but those Rayban sunglasses are paired perfectly with the rockin' vintage tee. This kind of t-shirt can be worn on your down days or if you're trying look like like you're a chic who rocks.

If you're into the vintage tee look, you don't have to wear a heavy metal one. Take Mary Kate Olsen, she's got a Kenny Rogers vintage tee on and it's just as impressive. Maybe even more so because she's got so many other great trends paired with it. I love her vintage mini skirt shows off her great legs, gladiator sandals edgy, and her flannel brings the whole look together in a fantastic retro manner.
Ashlee Simpson, looking frail here, is wearing an awesome John Lennon vintage tee. I like how she layered it up with a striped long sleeve and isn't afraid to go with an all black and blue look. The hat is too perfect for this look and that's all I'll say about that.

All in all vintage tees are pretty much the coolest thing going on right now. The more tattered and faded the better, the more obscure the artists or quote the better, and the more rock-style the outfit the better. Even if you can't get your hands on "real" vintage tees from thrift stores, go on out to Khols, H&M, Urbanoutfitters, Delias, or even Target for great band shirt.
