Book Review: How to Walk in High Heels A Girl’s Guide to E...

Want to know how to get dressed in five minutes flat and have that sparkling super model finish at the same time? How to tango your way out of trouble? Or how to keep that unfaithful gym membership alive?

Well the insightfully clever ‘How to Walk in High Heels the Girls Guide to Everything’ by self proclaimed style queen Camilla Morton is a novel about anything and everything etiquette. The novel is more then any other how to manual, it’s a women’s encyclopaedia on how to dodge trouble, be fashionable, stylish, organised, and how to achieve your goals in any jet setter group.

The likes of the rich, the famous, and the stylish also make their opinions high viable within the learning guide. ‘Courage is grace under pressure,’ says Ernest Hemingway as Morton deviously matches this infamous quote to her chapter ‘How to deal with Unpleasant Situations’.

The novel was a delightful read. Once you start reading you can’t put it down. I can now cook a fabulous three course meal and do my fitness regime at the same time. I recommend this book highly for any aspiring socialite or trend setter. The book is for sure to make you laugh as Morton tells you the No’s No’s of life.
