You know that movie ‘Only you’ with Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr, when they went on holidays and they stayed at that magnificent Italian coastal villa overlooking the sea? Well even if you haven’t seen it, I recommend you rent it (even though it is a cheesy chick flick). It was in this movie that I kept dreaming that one day I’d visit there.

The Amalfi Coast is the coastline of the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula of Italy, and it holds the most amazing view of the ocean and descending view of the town. The folks here are cultured and friendly and are great at making sure everyone feels at home. Accommodation is not cheap, especially the higher you go as the view gets more and more spectacular. Surrounded by luxurious hotels, delicious restaurants and pubs this place is the perfect getaway for romantic honeymooners and travellers who want to experience something truly unique to Italy.
