Sydney’s style savvy came out in force for the Adidas Originals celebrations last week, to acknowledge the label’s designs that have stood the test of time in a very fickle and fast paced industry.

Of course, the Originals have been altered throughout the course of time to suit the changes embraced by a young, modern consumer culture, but only in slight yet significant ways, such as colour combinations. The actual designs have pretty much stayed the same.

Black, white and neutral tones seemed to be the colour scheme of choice for trend-aware guests who snacked on canapés of mini pizza and sipped a glass or two of white. I was pleasantly surprised to spy a slash of green, red and purple here and there in the form of Adidas designs being modelled on bodies.

Despite the odd splash of rain, all in all the night went off without a hitch, but I wonder what that pillow fight was all about? Check it our here.
