Absolut Summer Sundays

An Absolut World is lived out on a hotel rooftop, around a sunny, warm deck with a cool swimming pool and succulent cocktails (Absolut vodka cocktails of course). In fact, a special Absolut cocktail has been concocted by the mixologist masterminds of Absolut, especially for the Summer Sundays sessions being held throughout, well…summer.

Launched a month ago, invitees get indulged in their own private oasis, shared only with other models, pr personalities, socialites and local celebrities. It’s like the alternative to Ivy Pool.

Guests are entertained by a top bunch of dj’s and music acts, and can choose to either soak up the views or Bondi Beach or watch the amusing antics usually served up in the pool.

What surprised me is how the Swiss Grand can carry on normal operation of their pool area and upper hotel levels as wet, semi naked men and women run rampant through elevators, staircases and fire exits. Take note: if you are the guest looking for a quite and secluded pool side retreat, do not go here on a summer Sunday.
