Who needs another blonde haired, blue eyed Aussie beauty? Not me! But one glimpse at Abbey Lee Kershaw ensures all negative feelings toward the constant stream of look-alike models quickly fade.
You may know her simply as: Abbey Lee, but one things for sure she's absolutely gorgeous with a face most would die for (and she doesn't resemble an alien unlike a certain Aussie model, who I shall not name. Always a plus!)

While she may reside in New York ALK (as I like to call her) was born in Melbourne, Australia on June 12, 1987 and hit fame in 2004 when she won Girlfriend's Model Search competition. She has walked for the likes of: Rag and Bone, Lacoste, Chanel, Dior and DKNY and graced the likes of Chinese and Aus Vouge and our very own Cosmopolitan magazine.
nymag.com tells us ALK is known for her hair, lips and teeth and cohorts with the likes of Alice Burdeu, Catherine McNeil, Erin Heatherton, Iekeliene Stange and Karmen Pedaru.
While she is known as a rising star ALK has certainly made a name for herself in all the right circles. Here is a timeline of her career so far (because no doubt she will keep on rising):

There's just something about Miss Abbey Lee Kershaw that one can't quite put their finger on. It may be her unmistakable beauty or her gorgeous face that sets her apart from the rest (in my book). One things for sure, as a person who despises the rail thin physique, the alien features and the drugged out persona, I most certainly do have a female crush on ALK.

And keep watching for that face!
