Hello lovely 2threaders,

Just a word from behind the scenes at 2threads to give you the heads up on a few changes to our stomping ground. Things have been very busy here getting ready for the launch of… wait for it, drum roll please… the new and improved 2threads site! The overall aim has been to give you guys a greater all round 2threads experience and make 2threads a place where you can look, like and live fashion.

There has been a fair amount of sweat and tears (no blood, yet) put into the creation of this new beauty. We hope you guys like it and, as always, feedback is welcome. We’d love to know what you think.

Like all great things, we are starting small but thinking BIG… world domination and all that.

The most exciting addition to the 2threads family is one which is very dear to our hearts, and hopefully will be dear to yours soon too. Introducing 2threads shop! Yep, our very own online shopping function. Brilliant, right?

2threads shop has all the best bits of online shopping rolled into one. It’s a place where you can come to buy one-off pieces from independent designers, score 2nd hand bargains from individual sellers and also pick up gems from some of Australia’s best-loved designers and retailers. 2threads invites anyone and everyone, from designers and retailers to individuals with overflowing wardrobes, to come and set up shop and sell their products online! Like the Thomas the Tank Engine we here at 2threads believe in the power positive thinking, and although it may be a tough nut to crack we’re confident that given a bit of time and a whole heap of word of mouth (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) 2threads shop will become the Mecca of online shopping!

Apart from 2threads shop there have also been some other changes which we’re pretty proud of. The homepage has had a major overhaul. It’s been nipped, tucked and prettied up to feature some of the best bits of 2threads all in one easy to navigate place.

The explore function (top left) has also been added so you can see exactly what is going on in the 2threads community at all times and never miss a beat. Think of it as the CCTV of 2threads.

Your profile pages have also had a facelift. Everything is still there as it should be, but it’s all been shuffled around to add to the greater aesthetic and functionality of the page.

Lastly, we know how much of your fashion and style inspiration comes from our ‘Hot Goods’ which have been so popular with the whole community. The idea remains the same, but the name has been changed more aptly to “Wishlists”!

I could write endlessly on all this but the best thing for you to do is have a good old snoop around for yourselves!
